ENSv2 is deployed on mainnet.
Every active or in-grace v1 .eth name has been reserved on the new .eth registry, with its expiry set to its v1 expiry plus 62 days.
ENS Labs runs a daily pre-migration sync that carries v1 registrations and renewals across. This page checks every live v1 name against its ENSv2 reservation, using ENSWhois's own index of both registries, and updates every 30 minutes.
Live v1 names (active or within the 90-day grace period) and where each stands on ENSv2.
| State | Names | Share |
|---|---|---|
| In sync | 860,867 | 95.1% |
| Sync pending | 313 | 0.0% |
| Migrated | 0 | 0.0% |
| Not resolving on ENSv2 | 43,209 | 4.8% |
| Not yet reserved | 426 | 0.0% |
| Live v1 names | 904,815 | 783,652 active, 121,163 in grace |
A name's v2 reservation runs to its v1 expiry plus 62 days. ENSv2 then gives 28 days of grace, so the name is released at v1 expiry plus 90 days, the same day as on v1. A name in v2 grace doesn't resolve through ENSv2, so for those last 28 days it resolves only through v1. "Sync pending" means the name was renewed on v1 after the last daily sync, so its v2 expiry hasn't caught up yet.
Once a day ENS Labs' BatchRegistrar reserves newly registered v1 names on ENSv2 and moves renewed ones forward. Last 14 days:

It's a generous margin ENS Labs applies in its pre-migration sync, so that no owner loses out in the move to ENSv2.
